Bill demanded Jarrett write a negative review on the Spectra’s fashion show so that their business would fail and CJ Garrison would accept Bill’s generous offer to buy the land that the Spectra building stands on. Why? Bill wants to build a new skyscraper no doubt in his own name. Bill was adamant that Spectra would fail. His reasoning was that the Spectra of old had Sally Spectra – the original – running the show and even then, Spectra Fashions didn’t have him to deal with.
Thomas was shocked when Sally dumped him. She told him to go back to his baby mamma, Caroline Spencer and make it work for his son’s sake. But Thomas wasn’t buying Sally’s reasoning. There had to be more to it. A sad and desperate Sally told Thomas it would all become clear. She told Steffy the same thing when the Forrester co-CEO asked the same question.
Shirley worked hard to keep Sally’s head on business and not mooning over her lost love Thomas. Shirley told her granddaughter that it was only a matter of time before Thomas and RJ grew tired of Sally and Coco anyway. With a loan shark wanting payment Sally had little choice but to go through with their plan to launch Spectra’s inaugural collection; full of stolen Forrester designs.
Buyers and the press loved the Spectra designs. But Sally didn’t get to bask in the glory of success for long.
Thomas arrived at the end of the show to see Sally take the runway. One by one the models joined Sally on the stage and Thomas’ smile faded. He locked eyes with Sally as he realized what she had done. She’d betrayed him and his family. Their entire collection was on the Spectra runway.
Meanwhile Coco was also seeing the designs for the first time, her family having gone to great lengths to keep her away from backstage. It didn’t take her long to realize also hat the designs were stolen.
Jarrett Maxwell, too realized the designs were too Forrester-like not to have been stolen…and questioned Saul about it…
