This week on The Bold and the Beautiful (July 18 – 22, 2016): Liam and Steffy share a moment; Brooke and Ridge are there for each other; Zende and Nicole take the next step in their relationship…

    Liam, Wyatt and Steffy

Liam and Wyatt’s discussion about Quinn continues.  Liam believes a Quinn who has been banished from her son’s life is a dangerous Quinn.  And Steffy is the one that banished her.  So he wonders what Steffy’s mother in law from hell will do in retaliation.

Meanwhile at Forrester Creations Steffy rants about Quinn not obeying her.

Steffy made it clear that Quinn was to stay away from her at home, her place of business and from her family.  Of course, what Steffy doesn’t know is that Quinn wasn’t really at Forrester Creations to beg Eric for her job back.  Quinn of course is the reason that Eric has a new spring in his step.  Something that Steffy has noted and told Eric she approved of despite not knowing who his new mysery lady is.

Eric stands by as Steffy yells at Quinn that she will now never be a part of her family.  Never.  But he says nothing, keeping the identity of him mystery lady just that; a mystery.H

Of course, that wasn’t the real reason Quinn turned up at Forrester Creations

As the Spencer’s make arrangements to travel to the Spencer Summit in Monte Carlo, Liam and Steffy spend time together and can’t help but be drawn to each other. At Spencer Publications Steffy quickly realizes that Liam isn’t looking forward to taking a trip to Monte Carlo with her and Wyatt.

    B&B Spoilers July 18 - 22, 2016

    Bill, Katie and Brooke

Brooke finds support where she hasn’t in a long time.  Ridge is there for her to support her through her struggles with Bill and Katie.  Considering it was Ridges disgust with Brooke getting involved with Bill Spencer that pushed him away from Brooke when he  returned from Paris, he has come full circle.  And it is Ridge’s own failing in his personal life that has brought him to this point.

But its still funny when Ridge warns Brooke about the kind of man Bill is: one who would steal a child from his mother. Will Brooke remind Ridge that he stole Douglas from his father (Thomas)?.

Ridge finds he has Brooke’s support in return.  Though she is surprised to learn that Ridge thinks there is something more than just shared parenthood between Thomas and Caroline.

Even though it was Bill and Brooke’s betrayal; again; that sent Katie over the edge, Brooke finds she can’t stay out of Bill and Katie’s lives.  She wants to make things right and seeing Bill take Will from her sister, likely won’t sit right with Brooke.  She steps in to try to help the estranged couple put their son’s needs first.  And suddenly removing a mother from a young child’s life can hardly be in Will’s best interests…Will should not be punished for their combined failings as parents.

Brooke tells Bill that what he is doing is kidnapping, but Bill sees it differently.  He calls it parenting…

    Ridge, Caroline and Thomas

Brooke and Ridges relationship takes a shift.  They support each other through the challenges they currently face in their lives:  Brooke with Bill and Katie; and Ridge with the fallout of keeping Douglas’ paternity a secret.

Ridge has lost his place as “father” to Douglas, and now must accept that his wife and son have a permanent closeness in each other’s lives as they raise their son together.  It has him wondering about his wife and son’s relationship.  Compound this with his actions costing him his role as CEO of Forrester Creations and it is understandable that Ridge finds himself “lost”.

But Ridge is contemplative about his father taking over as CEO.  It will give him time to focus on his family.  Which is good.  Because he worries about the growing relationship between Caroline and Thomas.  Is this a joint parenting relationship only?  Or could it grow to be more?

    Quinn and Deacon

Quinn has that gleam in her eye when she’s working a plan.  Deacon is with her as she sits down to her computer in her apartment.  What crime are they committing this time he wants to know?

    Nicole, Zende and Sasha

Nicole and Zende have had a long courtship.  One interrupted by her surrogacy pregnancy that saw Zende break up with Nicole since he couldn’t wrap his head around having a pregnant girlfriend he hadn’t even slept with yet.  That Nicole was pregnant with Zende’s uncles child didn’t help.  But Nicole and Zende and Nicole’s relationship has recovered from Lizzie’s birth and Sasha’s manipulations.

This week, Nicole and Zende take their relationship to the next level.  Zende assures Nicole that he never felt the same about Sasha as he does about her.  Zende and Nicole make love for the first time.

    Julius and Vivienne

Julius makes moves to be let back into Vivienne’s life.

Summer Spoilers: The Bold and the Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful Summer preview hints at some surprising turn of events this summer:

More and more people learn about Douglas’ paternity, which has Ridge working harder than before to protect his family from a scandal.

Thomas is still torn between being the cause of the scandal that Ridge and Caroline fear and claiming Douglas as his son.

Bill’s ability to not use the paternity secret to unseat Ridge as CEO of Forrester Creations is in question. Let’s just hope another CEO power struggle results in an outcome more interesting than Rick talking the helm; again.

Sasha remains a thorn in the side of Zende and Nicole’s relationship.  Ridge offers Sasha a new opportunity at Forrester Creations that means she won’t be heading back to Illinois. Nicole doesn’t trust her sister and becomes fiercely protective of her relationship with Zende demanding that Sasha stay away from him – even at work.  Could Zende’s relationship with Nicole cost him professionally?

An unusual even for Liam, has Wyatt wondering if his marriage to Steffy is even valid.  There are three possibilities here:  Wyatt and Steffy’s marriage wasn’t valid; Wyatt and Hope’s divorce wasn’t valid meaning that Wyatt wasn’t free to marry Steffy invalidating their marriage; or Steffy’s divorce from Liam wasn’t valid meaning that she is still legally married to Liam.

Since Chaz Bono, who portrayed the minister that married Wyatt and Steffy, has been back on the set, it seems that it’s Wyatt and Steffy’s union that may be in question.

Katie continues to struggle to stay away from alcohol; Bill and Brooke struggle to stay away from each other.

The text in this post contains spoilers, speculation and rumors.  Speculations are italicized and rumors are noted as such…spoilers are also put into context of what has already happened where it may add to the meaning of the spoiler.
